Remote Conversations
A map connects the United States and Australia to introduce the idea of a remote interview.
My role: Composition, animation and sound design
The idea
An interview can bring people together across distance. This map study introduces two places, connects them, and turns the connection into the idea of a shared conversation. The United States and Australia are illustrative locations, rather than a list of clients or a claim about a real event.
How the motion helps
Country labels establish the geography before the route moves. The sequence gives the viewer one thing to follow at a time: place, connection, then conversation. The black, white, and orange palette matches the other studies. Movement and arrival cues come from the same sound family, with a quiet closing accent.
My contribution
Composition, native animation, typography, sound placement, and export in EffectCraft and FilmCraft. This is a Practice project. Map data: Natural Earth, public domain.
